About the Co-Director

Matt Dwyer

As a member of the Pembroke community for over the last 12 years I am deeply honored to be a part of this World Cup Soccer Program. Being a teacher at both the middle school and high school level, there is nothing more rewarding than having an opportunity to positively impact the players of World Cup Soccer Camp and I look forward to cultivating this rich tradition for years to come.

• Master’s Degree in Education (Fitchburg State College)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education (University of Massachusetts @Lowell)
• 15 years of teaching experience:

• Currently in my 6th year as a Health Education teacher at Marshfield High School (grades 9 and 11)
• 5 years of teaching experience at the Middle School level as a Health Education teacher (grades 6-8) Furnace Brook Middle School; Marshfield, MA
• 3 years of teaching at the Middle School level in the Quincy Public School systems

• 3 years of coaching experience for Pembroke Youth Soccer
• Obtained G license through Mass. Youth Soccer Association
• Currently a U8 soccer coach in Pembroke
• Pembroke Youth Soccer Board Member

• Played Division III College Basketball @ Suffolk University (2 years)
